The Home Automation Server is the central KNX server solution for single-family homes and smaller smart home projects. It is ideally suited for installations without visible smart home components.
It enables flexible control via the YOUVI visualisation on virtually any end device, such as iOS or Android smartphones, tablets or Windows PCs. This makes the server particularly suitable for projects without permanently installed control units. Optionally, it can be combined with a touch panel.
Thanks to its compact design (4 DIN modules), the server can be installed on a DIN rail inside the electrical cabinet while saving valuable space. The Linux-based server offers a high level of reliability and ensures continuous operation even if one of the operating devices should fail. Integration with Alexa, Apple Home and Google Home as well as flexibly expandable bridges and modules also allows the server solution to be customised to individual requirements.

YOUVI home control on virtually any end device
With the included YOUVI visualisation, the Home Automation Server offers various options for home control. Users are free to choose which operating device they would like to use. In addition to control via smartphones, tablets, Windows PCs or a permanently installed smart home touch panel, voice control via Alexa or Siri (through the Connect Module) or offline via ProKNX Aragon is also possible. Control via the YOUVI smart home app (iOS/Android) is likewise supported. The KNX server is equipped with the Linux operating system for stable continuous operation.
Easy operation with YOUVI visualisation software
The included YOUVI visualisation software enables user-friendly control of (RGBW) lighting, blinds, temperature and ventilation. The customisable dashboard for touch panels can be set up easily via drag and drop. Together with the practical app, convenient home control becomes effortless.
In addition to the included YOUVI Basic software package, the system can be expanded with additional functions as required. Optional add-ons allow the integration of multiroom music control, energy management or voice control, for example. The Logic Module also enables the automation of various processes.
Versatile compatibility
Regardless of the preferred end devices – whether iOS or Android smartphones, tablets, Windows PCs or touch panels – the Home Automation Server offers maximum flexibility.
The visualisation as a Windows app is available for devices running Windows 10 or Windows 11. Windows LTSC is recommended for smooth operation.
The YOUVI iOS or Android app is available for mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. It allows users to control blinds, temperature and lighting easily, activate scenes or monitor sensors. Further information can be found under the “Software” tab.
Enhanced security for your smart home
The Home Automation Server offers various ways to make your smart home more secure. Support for video door stations and surveillance cameras allows users to keep an overview of their entrances at all times and decide who is granted access.
The server also provides additional technical security: if one operating device should fail, control remains possible via other available devices.
The Linux operating system also provides robust protection against cyber attacks and helps to safeguard privacy reliably.
Space-saving and low-maintenance
The KNX server is installed directly inside the electrical cabinet, saving valuable space while requiring very little maintenance.
No additional hardware is required, as an integrated IP router is already included.

YOUVI Basic included for reliable home control
YOUVI Basic combines three functions in one software package: visualisation, IP router and bus monitor. The KNX visualisation is created directly from the ETS project structure via ETS import. The project editor then helps to check detected devices and make any necessary adjustments for the visualisation. The visualisation is easy to use and meets high design standards. KNX devices such as blinds, lighting or heating can be controlled intuitively. The range of functions of YOUVI Basic can be flexibly extended with optional add-ons. No additional hardware is required for commissioning the smart home control system apart from the Home Automation Server and a suitable operating device. Thanks to the IP router software, no external KNX IP router is required. The included bus monitor also provides a transparent overview of the KNX network and offers extensive filtering and analysis options. The YOUVI software supports German, English and French.
